Migration museum
In this school assignment we were tasked to make a video about migrating to a different country. One of the rules were the person in the video had to be someone we knew. Either a family member or a friend. I chose my friend "Game" as he is called in the video who migrated from Thailand to Denmark at a young age.
Game sent me a voice recording of his journey. I told him to just talk about his journey and what felt natural to him and what made sense. The only requirement was that it had to be under 2 minutes. When he gave me the final recording I began looking through it and started sketching some scenes that would fit.
From that I began putting all the pictures together into an animatic to get a good feel for the length of each scene and how the flow would animate.
When I had gotten the flow down I started animating the final video with music and more animated drawings, and this is the final result.
